Hotel Bruman

I suppose people will have mixed opinions on this hotel. I stayed as a solo traveler and would rate my experience 5/5. What made it for me was truly the staff at the hotel, they were all very helpful, very positive & super friendly (everyone from reception to cleaning to food - absolutely fantastic people)! The room did look a little dated, but nonetheless it was spacious, clean and had everything I needed. I honestly didn’t mind it being a little dated, I was out most of the time anyway. The breakfast menu may look a bit limited but I enjoyed the food and left feeling full, so again really can’t fault it. All the key places I needed to get to were about a 15 minute walk so very convenient location-wise. Overall I had a very enjoyable stay 😊

Good and nice hotel close to the Reggia di Caserta. Rooms clean with recent interior design. Is possible to have a breakfast in a small dedicated area and is available a small private parking. Staff helpfully and very polite You cannot lunch or dinner inside, but near, by walking, you will find good restaurant. I recommend it if you are going in Caserta.

I spent five nights here and it was an excellent choice at a reasonable price. The room was unusually spacious and well-equipped (well lit, plenty of electical outlets for charging etc., very comfortable bed, balcony, large closet and shelf space, a desk and a stand for luggage). The bathroom was huge: and everything functioned well. Hot water was totally reliable. The wifi router was in the corridor and problem free throughout my stay. The room and the entire hotel (stairs, elevator, lobby, other common areas) were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had no car, but there is private parking. The buffet breakfast started by 7:00 AM which was very convenient. There was a good variety of tasty pastries, including sfogliatelle. The cold cuts (ham, cheese, salami) were more basic and “international”: some local selection would be appreciated in a great region for food. All in all, this is a top choice and Caserta is an excellent base for exploring the nearby region by train or bus, with frequent, reliable, and inexpensive service; plenty of good restaurants, cafeterias, and takeaways near the hotel too. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the train station and the Reggia park, and equally close to the center of Caserta, on a well-trafficked street where I felt completely safe (despite what some Google commentators have said about the Caserta train station area). (I wrote the review after my first stay in May 2018; I returned with my wife for four nights in May 2019 - again, an excellent experience all around).
